If you experience a side effect, here is how to handle it:

  • For a medical emergency, or any severe reaction such as difficulty breathing, swelling, or signs of a serious allergic reaction, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.

  • For non-emergency side effects, message the care team through the HIPAA-compliant portal. Describe what you are experiencing and when it started. The team will review it, and Dr. Taylor can adjust your protocol if needed.

  • Do not change your dose or how you use a medication on your own. Check with the care team first.

Your protocol is meant to be monitored and adjusted over time, so reporting side effects is a normal and important part of your care.
