If you experience a side effect, here is how to handle it:
For a medical emergency, or any severe reaction such as difficulty breathing, swelling, or signs of a serious allergic reaction, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
For non-emergency side effects, message the care team through the HIPAA-compliant portal. Describe what you are experiencing and when it started. The team will review it, and Dr. Taylor can adjust your protocol if needed.
Do not change your dose or how you use a medication on your own. Check with the care team first.
Your protocol is meant to be monitored and adjusted over time, so reporting side effects is a normal and important part of your care.
