Most of the peptides Live Vital offers are not FDA-approved and are prescribed off-label, meaning for uses beyond an FDA-approved indication. This is consistent with how many compounded prescription therapies are used in clinical practice.
There are exceptions worth knowing. Tesamorelin has a specific FDA-approved indication (reducing excess abdominal fat in HIV-infected patients with lipodystrophy) and is prescribed off-label for other body-composition goals. Retatrutide is not FDA-approved for weight management and remains in Phase 3 clinical trials.
In every case, treatment is prescribed by Dr. Taylor only after a medical intake and your informed consent, which specifically covers the off-label or investigational nature of the therapy. Live Vital does not claim FDA approval for compounded peptides.
